Moletto Gin – Mediterranean Spirit
From the Veneto, the Italian region historically and traditionally most involved in distillation, comes an original gin that combines carefully chosen botanical varieties of juniper berries from the Alps and Mediterranean maquis, with the originality of the tomato.
It begins with a burst of juniper fragrance. Then the sunny Meditterranean essence of the tomato stands out, followed by notes of rosemary, mint, basil, and then citrusy and balsamic notes. It is smooth tasting, and the sharp juniper berry note is followed by the enticing note of the original botanical features of the tomato. A ripe tomato that finally invigorates the palate with its fragrance, refreshing and citrusy notes.
Moletto Gin is produced using the alcohol from selected mixed grains, and two spirits made from botanical varieties of juniper berries: from the Mediterranean maquis – known as the best – and from the Alps. But the gin’s originality comes from a botanical feature that distinguishes and characterizers it: the tomato. Its ingredients also include an exceptionally pure natural element, spring water from the Dolomites, light and well-balanced, which is used to reduce the alcoholic strength.
